Here are more collections of best blog designs for the month of November. Some of these designs are free for use. Mainly, they’re attractive because they use small details to decorate the site, use colorful header and they’re structured properly for the ease of reading. In my opinion, proper structure is very important to present the contents of your blog to the viewers.

Click on screen shots to get to the sites. Let me know if I’ve missed out any good design. Let me know in the comments!

Last week, yAu yAu bought me a LOMO camera - SuperSampler from lomographyasia.com.

The shipment pretty fast, she ordered on Wednesday and received it after 2 days.

When we open it, the 1st thing is to check the camera then read the manual. Since LOMO camera is very different from normal camera, I have to read through the manual to avoid any stupid mistake. We found out that this LOMO camera not required any battery, 100% mechanical operation.

The aperture and shutter speed of this camera also fixed, F8 & 1/200. Therefore this camera is for outdoor use only. Bright indoor scenes will work, but the results will be somewhat grainy. Use 100 ASA only in intense sunlight. Otherwise, 800 ASA is recommended.

We have loaded the 400 ASA film that come with this camera and we are still in progress of shooting. We have no idea how the outcome looks like, but who care? Just follow the following 10 Rules of Lomography:

  1. Take your LOMO everywhere you go.
  2. Use it anytime - day or night.
  3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but a part of it.
  4. Shoot from the hip.
  5. Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible.
  6. Don’t think.
  7. Be fast.
  8. You don’t have to know beforehand what you’ve captured on film.
  9. You don’t have to know afterwards, either.
  10. Don’t worry about the rules.

Once we have developed our 1st roll of film, we will share it here.

Stay Tuned !!!

Been very very busy recently with my freelance jobs. Only now that I noticed that my last post was 10 days ago. Aiks, it seems that I’ve neglected my PixelRaves.

I’ve been surfing quite a lot lately, need to replenish the creativity side of my brain. I’ve noticed lately that I do come across more and more vector illustrated website. Is this the current trend of web design? Possibly. I felt that this is something new and refreshing. Now, you can forget about image / stock photography, where to purchase them and the rights thats bound to them. Here, I’ve listed some of the very good vector illustrated websites.

Click on the images and you’ll be directed to the original website. Enjoy.
