In the process of designing PixelRaves, I’ve came across a some of the best blog themes. Some of these designs are free for use. Mainly, they’re attractive because they use small details to decorate the site, use colorful header and they’re structured properly for the ease of reading. In my opinion, proper structure is very important to present the contents of your blog to the viewers.

I was setting up this blog and came across some of these plugins which I’ve used for the website. Decided to share it out with you guys. These are only some of the plugins, click here for more.

If you’re not familiar with wordpress, click on this wordpress.org. Its a blogging software, which I think is the easiest to use and familiarize with. Enjoy.

• Akismet - This tool checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if its spam or not. Its the best anti-spamming plugin for WordPress. Comes with the lastest version of Wordpress.
• flickrRSS - Integrate the photos from a flickr rss feed into your site. Show flickr photos on your website.
• Fuzzy recent posts - Displays the most recently posted entries on your web site.
• Ultimate Tagging Warrior - This is the best tag system for Wordpress. You can use categories and tag system on one website.
• WP-Database Backup - Backs up your blog.
• WYSIWYG Plugin - Creates an advanced version of your Write/Edit post screen.
